Bio

Dr. Mohaimin is an attending in the Pediatric Emergency Department at Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital. Her interest lies in immigrant and minority health, and how emergency providers can bridge the gap between health disparities and improve health equity for marginalized families using a holistic approach to their care. Her other interests include mentoring and teaching medical students and residents, and she also volunteers as a medical provider for a residential summer camp for underserved youth living with chronic illnesses, mainly sickle cell disease.
