Jeffrey Gershel, MD

Dr. Gershel is the Associate Vice-Chairman of the Lewis M. Fraad Department of Pediatrics, Director of the Inpatient Service, and Acting Director of the NICU. In 2000-2001 he served as Director of Region II of the Ambulatory Pediatric Association (now Academic Pediatric Association). Dr. Gershel is President of the Medical Board for Jacobi Medical Center and co-Medical Director for three suburban school districts. He is also board-certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Dr. Gershel co-edits the Clinical Manual of Emergency Pediatrics; the fifth edition will be published in 2010. Dr. Gershel is a Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
