Bio

Dr. Meltzer is an Attending Physician and serves as the Assistant Director for the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He is also Director of the Pediatric Emergency Bedside Ultrasound section within the division. Dr. Meltzer is board certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He obtained his Master's degree in Clinical Research from the Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) at Einstein in 2017.

He is an active researcher and collaborates closely with the trauma service at Jacobi Medical Center’s Pediatric Trauma Center. Dr. Meltzer has also participated in several research projects through the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Collaborative Research Committee. In addition, Dr Meltzer coordinates a Summer Research Program at Jacobi for medical students, directs a biostatistics lab for PEM fellows, and a monthly journal club for pediatric residents at Jacobi.
