Ellen Crain, MD, PhD
Dr. Crain is the Vice-Chair of the Lewis M. Fraad Department of Pediatrics and Director of the Pediatric Emergency Department, where she developed and directs the Jacobi fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. In 1999-2000 she served as President of the Ambulatory Pediatric Association (now Academic Pediatric Association). In 2005 she received a special commendation from the APA for introducing pediatric environmental health into the society. She is also the president of the New York Medical Alliance. Dr. Crain is board-certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine and she is a Professor of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
