Bio

Dr. Noé Romo is an attending physician, and pediatric hospitalist. He is the Director of the Pediatric Inpatient Service. Dr. Noé Romo is the medical director of the Bronx Stand Up to Violence (S.U.V) program which is the NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi hospital-based community violence prevention initiative. He is also a member of both the pediatric trauma task force and pediatric and adult trauma peer review committees. Dr. Noé Romo is a member of the department’s education committee and is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics with an additional Subboard of Pediatrics Hospital Medicine. His research interests include the epidemiology of violence and the design, implementation, and evaluation of violence prevention strategies to improve morbidity and mortality in young victims of violent trauma. Dr. Romo contributes to the medical literature with original research and narrative medicine perspectives publications.
